RUGBY: Corsham 15 Oakmedians 3

10:00am Wednesday 22nd February 2012

A FINE first-half display helped Corsham to victory in Southern Counties South – but a broken leg for Josh Gould marred the win.

Gould was taken to hospital in an ambulance after breaking his fibula after just five minutes, but Corsham still managed to put on their best first half display of the season.

Dan Goldsworthy kicked a penalty against the elements and Andy Williamson scored the first try after a kick and chase.

Wes Newson then touched down for a score converted by Goldsworthy before Oaks got on the board with a penalty before the interval.

Corsham had further chances in the second half, but were let down by poor rucking and their haste to get to the try line.
