Illegal immigrants arrested in Semington
5:44pm Tuesday 9th March 2010

Police arrested three illegal immigrants in Semington earlier today after they fled from a lorry which stopped off at a distribution centre.
Wiltshire Police helicopter was called out to help search for the trio, shortly after a French lorry driver reported seeing them escape from his vehicle.
The driver had pulled into the Great Bear Distribution depot in Portal Road when the immigrants made a run for it, just before midday.
The lorry driver alerted the centre manager, who contacted police.
The three men were found and arrested near Semington roundabout.
